Georgia Irwin is an actor, comedian and writer living in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Georgia is a queer actor, writer, and comedian based in Vancouver, bringing over twelve years of experience to the stage and screen.

She began her comedy career in Edmonton as a founding cast member of Grindstone Theatre’s 11 O’Clock Number musical improv troupe, performing at the Edmonton Fringe and Varscona Theatre. After earning a BFA in Acting from the University of Alberta (graduating with distinction in 2014), Georgia trained at the Manitoulin Conservatory for Creation and Performance (Clown Farm), where she discovered a passion for bouffon, mask, and clown work. She later completed the Second City Conservatory sketch comedy program in Toronto, honing her skills in character and sketch performance.

Since moving to Vancouver in 2021, Georgia has become a regular performer at The Hero Show, including Best of the West Just for Laughs appearances in 2022, 2024, and 2025. In 2025, she was invited to perform in a solo character showcase for Just for Laughs, auditioning to be considered for the upcoming New Faces: Characters showcase in Montreal. Her other live comedy credits include It’s Got Legs and Weird Owl Karaoke at Little Mountain Gallery, and Queerprov’s Coming Out Stories at Tightrope Impro Theatre.

In November 2024, Georgia co-created, produced, and starred in First Impressions, an original show selected for Little Mountain Gallery’s Little Weird Weekend Festival. The show highlighted her love for absurd comedy with a mix of celebrity impressions, original characters, and offbeat costumes—think massive diapers, wigs, and claws—enhanced by musical elements. She remounted First Impressions in April 2025 at The China Cloud Studios with an all-new cast of characters.

On screen, Georgia’s credits include Lucky Hank (with Bob Odenkirk), The Good Doctor, and the third season of Yellowjackets opposite Christina Ricci and Melanie Lynskey. She brings the same energy and inventiveness from her live performances to her film and television work, with a focus on bold, memorable characters.
